Details   Matt has just finished restoring this mangle that belonged to his late parents so it has significant sentimental value for him. It’s in full working order.

A mangle is a mechanical laundry aid consisting of two rollers in a sturdy frame, connected by cogs and (in its home version) powered by a hand crank or by electricity. Mangles are used to press or flatten sheets, tablecloths, kitchen towels, or clothing and other laundry.

Cheviot MenzShed proudly hosted members from Cheviot Garden Club to our workshops to build bird feeders today. Harry Ipenburg prepared 15 kit sets for the members to assemble.
This is the first Community Group MenzShed has hosted in our workshops and we look forward to more.
